The College of Tourism Sciences is organizing a training course in coordination with the Continuing Education Center.
Under the auspices of the esteemed President of Mosul University, Asst.Prof.Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Asst Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the Department of Hotel Studies, in coordination with the Continuing Education Center, organized a training course entitled “Leadership Styles and Their Impact on Developing Soft and Hard Skills of Workers” from April 28th to 30th, 2024.
The course covered several topics, with the first day’s presentation delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud on “The Concept of Leadership and Its Styles.” This was followed by valuable lectures given by a select group of faculty members from the Department of Hotel Studies, as outlined below:
– Asst. Prof.Dr. Manal Abdul Jabbar Al-Sumak, Head of the Department, addressed “How to Enhance Job Performance.”
– Asst.Lec.Rana Khair Al-Din Hameed discussed the “Concept of Soft and Hard Skills.”
– Asst.Lec.Heba Khaled Bakr elaborated on “How to Develop Soft and Hard Skills.”
– Asst.Lec.Abdullah Mohammed Taher outlined “Obstacles to Improving Soft and Hard Skills in the Workplace.”
The course was attended by several faculty members and students from the college who enriched the discussions with their valuable questions and contributions.
