The College of Tourism Sciences held a workshop.
The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Tourism Sciences organized a workshop titled “Development of Specialized Skills for Workers in the Tourism Sector” on Sunday, October 13, 2024. The workshop was delivered by the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Dr. Mohammad Naif Mahmoud, and attended by the college students in line with the 2023-2031 National Education Strategy (Specialized Skills Development—fd7).
The National Education Strategy in Iraq is an ambitious plan aimed at broad solutions and wide-ranging programs. It seeks to raise the quality, efficiency, and inclusiveness of Iraq’s education system while equipping young people with the skills and knowledge that enable them to contribute to economic and social development. The strategy also aligns with labor market needs and enhances the practical skills of graduates.
