The Ministerial Committee’s Visit to Evaluate the Work of Psychological Counseling Units in Iraqi Universities
In line with the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the ministerial committee for psychological counseling and educational guidance from the Ministry of Higher Education visited the Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Tourism Sciences. They were received by the Dean of the College, Ass.t Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naif Mahmoud, and the Head of the Unit, ِAsst.Lec. Huda Abdulaziz, on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The visit aimed to monitor and assess the performance of the counseling units in universities. The committee conducted an on-site visit to review the counseling activities carried out by the unit and its adherence to required standards, as well as the provision of a supportive environment for students.
After the visit, the committee praised the achievements of the Psychological Counseling Unit and expressed hope for continued success in supporting the educational progress of the university.
