Tourism Studies Department Holds a Scientific Workshop

As part of our college’s academic activities, and under the guidance of the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the Tourism Studies Department, organized a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Tourism Media in Preserving Cultural Heritage” on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
The department’s rapporteur, Dr. Haitham Ahmed Hussein, presented the workshop in the presence of the Dean, the Assistant Dean for scientific affairs, the Head of the Tourism Studies Department, and several faculty members. The session included various questions and discussions that enriched its content and contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of tourism media in raising public awareness about cultural heritage preservation and to foster the exchange of expertise among specialists to enhance the media’s role in this vital field.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean praised the efforts of the academic departments, which continuously strive to organize workshops, discussion panels, and awareness lectures. He emphasized their commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and strengthening the college’s role in the development of this field.
