The College of Tourism Sciences in Service of the Community
Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Alaa Abdullah Hussein, the College of Tourism Sciences organized a visit to the Orphanage, Al-Zuhur Home, and the Elderly Care Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The visit was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, and a number of faculty members and staff from the college.
During the visit, in-kind assistance and donations were provided to the elderly and children to bring joy to their hearts. The participants also assessed their conditions and needs, striving to offer the necessary support.
It is worth mentioning that this visit is one of the key activities organized by the college as part of its social responsibility. It reflects the spirit of compassion and solidarity within the community. It highlights the commitment of the University of Mosul in general, and the College of Tourism Sciences in particular, to serving society and supporting its various groups.
