Participation of the Head of the Department of Tourism Studies in a Master’s Thesis Defense at the College of Basic Education.

The Head of the Department of Tourism Studies at our college, Professor Dr. Raed Ameer Abdullah, participated as a member of the examining committee for the Master’s thesis submitted by the student Lubna Mahfouz Younis, entitled:
“The Educational Training of the Ajalib Mamluks during the Mamluk Era (648–924 AH / 1250–1517 AD).”

The defence was held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the College of Basic Education, and the committee consisted of the following members:

  • Professor Dr. Fathi Salem Humaidi – Chair.

  • Professor Dr. Raed Ameer Abdullah – Member.

  • Assistant Professor Dr. Halaam Saleh Wahab – Member.

  • Professor Dr. Faiz Ali Bukhait – Member and Supervisor.

This participation aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasizes the importance of supporting postgraduate studies, advancing scientific research, and enhancing the quality of higher education.
