A Meeting at The College of Tourism Sciences to Follow Up on the SIS System and Complete Its Requirements

The College of Tourism Sciences held a meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the heads and rapporteurs of the academic departments, as well as the head of the Registration Unit.

The meeting aimed to follow up on the progress of work on the Student Information System (SIS), ensure the uploading of academic materials, and complete all system requirements to help organise the educational process and facilitate access to academic information for both students and faculty members.

The attendees discussed the challenges instructors and students may face in using the system and explored ways to simplify registration procedures to ensure an effective and accurate educational process. The Dean also emphasised the importance of adhering to the specified timelines.

This meeting is in line with Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education, which aims to enhance the quality of education and ensure equitable access to academic resources for all students.
