The College of Tourism Sciences Council Holds Its Regular Meeting

As part of its continuous efforts to enhance academic quality and promote institutional development, the College of Tourism Sciences Council held its regular meeting on Sunday, November 9, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and the Heads of Departments.
The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, expressing her appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the teaching and administrative staff. She emphasised the importance of maintaining a spirit of teamwork to achieve academic excellence and strengthen the college’s standing.
During the session, the Council discussed several key topics on the agenda, including:
- Restructuring the scientific and examination committees to ensure the efficiency of academic operations and uphold the highest quality standards.
- Reviewing academic guidelines and monitoring files to prevent delays and ensure smooth workflow.
- Presenting and discussing developmental ideas and projects aimed at supporting the college’s digital transformation process.
This meeting comes within the framework of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by enhancing the standard of education and ensuring the efficiency of academic performance.
