Tourism Sciences College Council Holds Its Regular meeting

The Council of the College of Tourism Sciences held its regular meeting on Sunday, 4 January 2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Heads of the Scientific Departments, the Head of the Registration and Student Affairs Division, and the representative of the Academics’ Syndicate at the College.

The Council discussed a number of issues included on its agenda, most notably the matter of the reinstatement of students whose registrations had been canceled, and the mechanisms for handling these cases in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions, in a manner that ensures students’ rights and achieves smooth academic and administrative procedures.

The Council also addressed the implementation of the Bologna System for first-year students and discussed the mechanisms for activating it in a way that contributes to the development of the educational process and the improvement of its outcomes.

Regarding the conduct of examinations, the Council emphasized the necessity of adhering to the approved examination instructions and ensuring accuracy and fairness in marking exam papers and recording grades, in a manner that guarantees students’ rights and enhances integrity and transparency in the assessment process.

The Council’s decisions come in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
