College of Tourism Sciences

The Faculty of Tourism Sciences Council convened to mark the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, presided over by the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud was attended by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khaled, the Vice Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zina Zuhair Mohammed Shit, the Head of the Tourism Studies Department, Dr. Asan Hashim Hamdoun, and the Secretary of the Hotel Studies Department, Asst. Lecturer Hiba Khaled Baker.

The meeting aimed to discuss and develop work plans for the new year, emphasizing adherence to the procedures for a smooth start to the academic year. Discussions included the distribution of subjects among the teaching staff, committee assignments, and ensuring the regular attendance of students and faculty members. The council also stressed the importance of preparing for academic workshops, scientific research publications, and scheduled academic activities.

Additionally, support for students and faculty was highlighted, emphasizing the need to provide all necessary resources for the educational process to proceed smoothly. The council urged the implementation of organizational and administrative measures to ensure workflow efficiency and achieve the academic objectives for this year.
