The Department of Tourism Studies Organizes a Scientific Workshop Titled “The Role of Women and Accountants in Tourist Guiding”
As part of the scientific activities organized by our college and under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, the Department of Tourism Studies,held a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Women and Accountants in Tourist Guiding” on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. This workshop is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance awareness and broaden the perspectives of faculty members and those interested in the tourism sector.
Asst.Lecturer Huda Abdulaziz Mohammed moderated the session in the presence of the Head of the Tourism Studies Department, Dr. Asan Hashem Hamdoun, the Department Rapporteur, Dr. Haitham Ahmed Hassan and several college staff members. The workshop also featured a series of questions and discussions that enriched the topic.
The primary objective of the workshop was to highlight the role of women in tourist guiding and emphasize the importance of their active participation in this vital sector. Additionally, the discussion addressed the role of accountants in ensuring financial transparency and promoting sustainable tourism.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College expressed his appreciation to Ms. Huda Abdulaziz for her efforts in organizing the workshop and wished her continued success and excellence.
