Prof. Dr Manal Raafat Khalid, Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Mosul, chaired the ministerial committee assigned by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to evaluate the academic and scientific reality. The visit occurred at the College of Tourism Sciences, University of Karbala, on Wednesday and Thursday, October 1–2, 2025. The visit included a field tour of the scientific departments, administrative units, and laboratories, during which the committee examined the level of organisation, infrastructure, and efforts made to enhance the educational environment.
