Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, the Human Rights Unit at the college, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul and the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, held a workshop entitled “Tourism and the Rights of Local Communities” on Sunday, 21 December 2025, as part of the college’s awareness activities on human rights.
