Dams Researches and Water Resources Center

Dams & water resources research center organized a workshop entitled "Rock Engineering" presented by Dr. Ezzedine Saleh Al-Jawadi, Department of Dams and Geotechnics on Monday, 4/3/2019. The workshop discussed several topics, including how to conduct field measurements on rock blocks to extract engineering transactions for classification and determination the appropriate supports of engineering structures. The workshop recommended the importance of cooperation and the close interrelationship between overlapping disciplines. Many lectures from colleges and research centers in Mosul university as well as some engineering departments in Nineveh governorate contributed in this workshop.
