Dams Researches and Water Resources Center

Based on our university’s objectives to provide multiple scientific services to our society, the Dams and Water Resources Research Center held a training course entitled (Groundwater Quality in Nineveh Governorate) for the period from 5/5 – 5/9/2024.

The course included a number of lectures on physical and chemical specifications, analysis methods, quality of reservoir rocks, and water classification criteria.

Lectures were given by Prof. Dr. Qutaiba T. Al-Youzbakey (course director) and Asst. Lec. Mustafa S. Mustafa. A number of employees of related departments in the governorate participated in the course (Ninawa Environment Directorate, Geological Survey Directorate, Nineveh Water Directorate, Water Resources Directorate, Water Resources Studies Center for Northern Region Projects).
