On the Occasion of World Geodiversity Day: Workshop on Geodiversity in Nineveh Governorate
The Dams and Water Resources Research Center at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Iraqi Geological Survey / Nineveh, is organizing a workshop entitled:
“Geodiversity in Nineveh Governorate.”
The workshop aims to highlight the geodiversity of Nineveh Governorate and its contribution to building a sustainable developmental future. It will include lectures on the geology of Nineveh Governorate, its most important natural resources, and geological explorations.
The workshop will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, in the hall of the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Mosul, starting at 10:00 AM.
