Center Director Holds an Expanded Meeting with Academic and Administrative Staff to Discuss Improving Administrative and Scientific Performance

Assistant Professor Dr. Yousif Hashim Abdullah, respected Director of the Center, held a meeting with all academic and administrative staff at the Center.

The meeting addressed several key topics aimed at enhancing research performance, laboratory work, and administrative efficiency.

It began with a discussion of the main challenges affecting administrative workflow and laboratory operations, and practical proposals were put forward to overcome obstacles and improve the work environment, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the quality of performance within the Center’s academic departments.

The importance of regular maintenance of laboratory devices and equipment, as well as upgrading laboratories with modern instruments, and strengthening safety procedures and quality control of tests was emphasized to keep pace with recent developments in the fields of dams and water resources.

The meeting also included discussions on the research plan for the upcoming year, a review of the scientific activities and research completed during the current year, and the scientific activity plans of the Center’s departments, in alignment with the University’s strategy to support applied scientific research and community service.
