كلية الهندسة

في إطار تفعيل مذكرات التفاهم مع الجامعات الدولية وتعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي، استقبل قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية في كلية الهندسة – جامعة الموصل، يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 8 نيسان 2025، الأستاذ الزائر إلى قسم هندسة التعدين في كلية هندسة النفط، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور راشد رحيم الله، رئيس قسم هندسة التعدين في كلية هندسة التعدين – جامعة أورميا التكنولوجية / جمهورية إيران الإسلامية.
رافق الدكتور راشد في زيارته الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عز الدين صالح الجوادي، رئيس قسم هندسة التعدين في جامعة الموصل، وعدد من تدريسيي القسم، في زيارة علمية هدفت إلى توطيد أواصر التعاون العلمي والبحثي بين الجانبين.

وكان في استقبال الوفد الزائر كل من الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عمر محمد حمدون، رئيس قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية، والسيد المدرس قيس حازم، مقرر القسم، والسيد المدرس أحمد سعدون، مسؤول الورشة الميكانيكية.
تضمنت الزيارة جولة في مرافق القسم والورشة الميكانيكية، كما جرت مناقشة عدد من المحاور المهمة المتعلقة بالبرامج الأكاديمية المشتركة، وسبل تطوير المختبرات الهندسية بما يعزز من جودة التعليم والتدريب العملي.
وقد حضر الدكتور راشد رحيم الله إحدى المناقشات العلمية لطلبة الدراسات العليا في القسم، حيث أثنى على المستوى الأكاديمي والبحثي، كما اطّلع على برامج الدراسات العليا والخطط البحثية للقسم، معرباً عن اهتمامه بإمكانية فتح آفاق للتعاون المشترك في مجال الإشراف المشترك والتبادل العلمي.
تأتي هذه الزيارة ضمن سلسلة من النشاطات الهادفة إلى مد جسور التواصل مع المؤسسات الأكاديمية الإقليمية والدولية، بما يسهم في تطوير الإمكانيات العلمية والبحثية لكلا الطرفين .

Department of Mechanical Engineering Receives an Academic Delegation from Urmia University of Technology – Iran

As part of activating memoranda of understanding with international universities and enhancing academic cooperation, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Mosul received on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the visiting professor to the Department of Mining Engineering at the College of Petroleum Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Rasheed Raheemullah, Head of the Mining Engineering Department at the College of Mining Engineering – Urmia University of Technology, Islamic Republic of Iran.

Dr. Rasheed was accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Ezzedine Saleh Al-Jawadi, Head of the Mining Engineering Department at the University of Mosul, along with several faculty members from the department, in a scientific visit aimed at strengthening scientific and research cooperation between the two sides.

The visiting delegation was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoun, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Lecturer Mr. Qais Hazem, Department Coordinator, and Lecturer Mr. Ahmed Saadoon, Head of the Mechanical Workshop.

The visit included a tour of the department’s facilities and the mechanical workshop, in addition to discussions on several key topics related to joint academic programs and ways to develop engineering laboratories to enhance the quality of education and practical training.

Dr. Rasheed Raheemullah also attended a scientific thesis defense for postgraduate students in the department, where he praised the academic and research level. He was also briefed on the postgraduate programs and the department’s research plans, expressing his interest in exploring opportunities for joint supervision and academic exchange.

This visit comes as part of a series of activities aimed at building bridges of communication with regional and international academic institutions, contributing to the development of scientific and research capabilities for both parties.
