A higher education opportunity for international students to study in Iraq … the “Study in Iraq” program …

In a national trend aimed at attracting students from outside Iraq to receive their higher education in Iraq and to reflect a real image of the scientific and educational reality in Iraq, and within free and half-free scholarships in various scientific disciplines for many Iraqi universities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched its plans in this aspect, which reflects the academic reputation of institutions and universities.

The University of Mosul is one of the most important universities that embrace these students through the creation of the Studies Division for Arab and Foreign Students in 2024, which is the official accredited interface for receiving, registering and following up their affairs and is responsible for implementing and coordinating the program. It is linked to the Office of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs as approved by the organizational structure of the University of Mosul.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, continues his follow-up to the students by assembling the university’s efforts towards providing the appropriate atmosphere, sober curricula, comfortable residential buildings, and theoretical and applied scientific research requirements for the success of the program, and to help students obtain high scientific degrees in the fields of various disciplines.
On Monday, the Ministry launched the third edition of this program for the academic year 2025-2026, and invites students to register and benefit from it and provides its approved electronic links for this process in order to advance the march of higher education and translate its strategic objectives in this distinguished field.
