The Dean’s Strategic Plan for the College of Archaeology

The College is working to advance its academic programs in order to graduate qualified specialists in the fields of archaeology and restoration. It is introducing new disciplines such as Digital Archaeology and Genetic Archaeology, while strengthening field training and building educational partnerships.

In research, the College is integrating artificial intelligence into its curricula, establishing specialized units and advanced laboratories—including simulation, holography, and acoustics labs—and introducing applied courses that enhance archaeological analysis.

Faculty and staff development is also a key priority. Efforts include academic missions, authorship and translation projects, the introduction of doctoral and professional diploma programs, and collaboration with international institutes for knowledge exchange.

Financially, the College is investing in renewable energy, leveraging museums as economic resources, and improving infrastructure alongside advanced digital documentation technologies.

On the community level, the College launches awareness campaigns to protect heritage, contributes to combating extremism and corruption, and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting quality education, resource efficiency, and a culture of human rights.
