Soil Tillage in the Center’s Greenhouses in Preparation for the Winter Growing Season.

The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research carried out soil tillage operations inside its greenhouses on Monday, 12 October 2026, as part of its preparations for the winter growing season. These operations aim to establish suitable conditions for conducting the agricultural research trials and experiments scheduled for the season.

The work involved tilling the soil to control weeds and limit their spread, improve soil conditions, and prepare the greenhouse beds for winter crops. These operations help create favorable conditions for plant growth and provide a suitable environment for conducting research experiments in accordance with the Center’s approved scientific plans.

These preparations reflect the Center’s commitment to providing the technical and agricultural requirements necessary for the successful implementation of its research activities throughout the winter season.

They also support ongoing scientific efforts to develop agricultural practices and improve soil management efficiency in line with the Center’s research objectives in arid farming and conservation agriculture.
