Comprehensive Research Meeting.
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Department of Mechanization Technologies (DMT) at the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research’s (C.AFCAR) held a comprehensive meeting included the Researchers and Agri. Engineers, this meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Mahmood Awad Hussein. The meeting discussed the research plans for this season, future planning for establishing research stations within the center’s designated sites on the University campus, and maximizing the use of strategic projects coordinated by the center to conduct research articles and produce practical recommendations for farmers and agricultural stakeholders, given that these projects are implemented in the same agricultural environment in which they operate.
This meeting reinforces the concept of research work through research teams and highlights its importance in addressing the problems faced by the agricultural sector at the national level, while striving to develop practical, scientific solutions for them.
