Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research`s

   A delegation of researchers from Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches, headed by Professor Dr. Salem Hammadi Antar, participated in the elections for the General Conference members of the Iraqi Academics Union / Nineveh Branch for the third term (2025), which were held on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

   This participation underscores the pioneering role the Center plays, not only in research but also in supporting and enhancing active engagement in academic syndicates and bodies. This reflects the commitment of its members to contributing to the development of the academic sector. The elections were characterized by a commendable democratic atmosphere and significant interaction from the participants.

   This step is seen as a crucial move towards strengthening scientific representation in union work, which will positively impact community service and the advancement of the academic environment.
