Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research`s

  As part of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research’s (C. AFCAR) efforts at the University of Mosul to enhance the efficiency of scientific and research performance, the Center’s media team conducted a field tour on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Scientific Affairs to observe the workflow and the tasks being carried out under the supervision of Dr. Adnan A. A. Luhaib, Head of Scientific Affairs.

  The Scientific Affairs oversee the coordination of annual research plans, the organization of training courses, workshops, and scientific seminars, as well as the management of the Center’s library and the monitoring of staff performance evaluation files. Additionally, they supervise the implementation of sustainable development activities within the University of Mosul’s plan and maintain direct collaboration with the Scientific Affairs department, the Department of Studies and Planning, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, and the Graduate Studies Department at the University Presidency, thereby strengthening institutional integration between the Center and the University’s academic and administrative bodies.

  At the conclusion of the tour, the Deputy Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Salem Hamadi Antar, praised the efforts of the Scientific Affairs staff and their fruitful contributions to the organization of relevant scientific and administrative work, emphasizing that the Center continues to advance its research activities in a manner that supports the University of Mosul’s pursuit of academic leadership and scientific excellence.
