Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research’s (C.AFCAR) at University of Mosul Discusses Enhancing Teamwork to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
AFCAR Center at the University of Mosul held a meeting to discuss strengthening collaborative work in pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting was chaired by the Center’s Deputy Director, Professor Dr. Salem Hamadi Antar, on Sunday, 2 November 2025.
The meeting brought together the Researchers, Agri. Engineers, and administrative staff to discuss streamlining internal workflows and fostering a stronger team spirit. This initiative aims to accelerate the completion of agricultural research and yield more effective and impactful results.
Attendees included the heads of the center’s four departments, along with officials from the scientific and administrative divisions. This meeting reflects the Center’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 17, which emphasizes “Partnerships for the Goals.” This is achieved by building a cooperative research environment that supports innovation and addresses the challenges of agriculture in dryland regions.
