The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research’s (C.AFCAR) at the University of Mosul holds awareness activity for the international day for the eradication of poverty.
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, C.AFCAR implemented an awareness initiative delivered by agricultural engineering associate Iman Akram Abdulhakeem, in observance of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
As part of the initiative, an educational poster was created and distributed to highlight the importance of poverty reduction and to raise public awareness of this global challenge.
This activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 1 (No poverty), which aims to eradicate poverty in all its forms everywhere. Through this initiative, C.AFCAR demonstrates its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement in addressing poverty’s complex impacts.
