Director of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research Participates as a Committee Member in a PhD Dissertation Defense at the College of Agriculture and Forestry.

   Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Mustafa Al-Taweel, Director of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at University of Mosul, participated as a committee member in the defense of a PhD dissertation entitled: “Effect of Foliar Spraying with Chitosan and Salicylic Acid on the Growth and Genetic Variation of Two Cypress (Cupressus) Species.” The defense was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the College of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Mosul.

   The participation of the Center’s Director in this defense reflects the Center’s role as a leading scientific platform supporting advanced agricultural research and promoting knowledge exchange among researchers at both local and international levels.

   This engagement aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, including: Goal 4: Quality Education — by developing researchers’ capabilities and enhancing scientific knowledge.
