Participation of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research in the Scientific Outputs Marketing Workshop at University of Mosul.

  In compliance with the directives of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim Al-Hadidi, regarding the development of the scientific outputs marketing system and the optimal investment of research outcomes, the Head of the Scientific Outputs Marketing Unit at the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research , Ms. Raghad Hathban Mohammed Ali, participated in a workshop organized by the University Presidency entitled: “Enhancing the Scientific Outputs Marketing System at the University of Mosul: Roles, Responsibilities, and Implementation Mechanisms.”

  The workshop was held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall and was organized by the Scientific Outputs Marketing Division / Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University Presidency. It aimed to clarify the tasks and responsibilities of scientific output marketing units in colleges and research centers, unify work mechanisms, enhance institutional performance efficiency, and strengthen the culture of research investment while linking scientific outputs to market needs.

  This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to activating the role of its Scientific Outputs Marketing Unit and transforming research results into applied projects with economic and social returns, thereby enhancing the University’s position in innovation and entrepreneurship.

  The workshop’s themes align with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: Goal 1: No Poverty — by supporting entrepreneurial projects that create sustainable income sources.Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being — through marketing medical research and innovative health applications. Goal 4: Quality Education — by linking scientific research to market needs and improving the quality of higher education. Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — by creating new job opportunities through research-based startups. Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure — by developing supportive research and innovation infrastructure such as incubators and technology transfer offices. Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities — by expanding access to innovation opportunities for broader segments of society. Goal 13: Climate Action — by applying scientific innovations in clean energy and environmental sustainability technologies. Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals — by strengthening cooperation between the university and both public and private sectors.

  This participation demonstrates the Center’s commitment to supporting the University’s direction toward strengthening the scientific outputs marketing system and achieving integration between scientific research and economic and societal development.
