The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research Organizes a Workshop on Digital Transformation in Annual Evaluation to Enhance Institutional Performance Efficiency at the University of Mosul.

  Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Subhi Mustafa Al-Taweel, Director of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research , and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, the Center organized a workshop on Monday, April 6, 2026, entitled:

“Digital Transformation in Annual Evaluation: How Electronic Systems Contribute to Improving the Performance of Employees in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.”

  The workshop lectures were delivered by Mr. Ahmed Hussein Qasim from the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate and Assistant Lecturer Nawaf Jassim Mohammed. The workshop addressed the importance of digital transformation as an essential requirement to keep pace with rapid technological developments, particularly in governmental and educational institutions.

  As part of the Center’s ongoing efforts since its establishment, the lecturers developed integrated electronic templates aligned with the annual evaluation forms for administrative staff, researchers, and employees. This contributes to improving evaluation mechanisms and enhancing their efficiency. The workshop also highlighted the role of digital systems in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and fairness, as well as improving job performance and motivating staff to enhance their productivity, in line with institutional modernization trends in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

   This activity is aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

  • Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8): through enhancing employee efficiency and work environment.

   This workshop reflects the Center’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and enhancing institutional performance in line with modern trends, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.
