Prof. Dr. Qusay AbdelWahab Al-Suhail, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Iraq instructed granting financial rewards for Iraqi scholars who publish their researches in journals indexed in SCOPUS data bases. This decision was made during the meeting of the Opinion Staff of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The instruction is that a 500,000 ID reward is to be granted for Iraqi scholars for each research published in one of the journals having scl and SCIE for Clarivate indexing and Q1 or Q2 for SCOPUS indexing. The Minister ordered preparing a list of the journals approved by the ministry for publication and scientific promotion and another one of the non-approved journals.
