Academic researches publication is a genuine constituent of identity of academic institutions. Hence, Department of Computer Science of College of Computer Science and Mathematics, and under auspices and in presence of Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmedy, holds the fourth academic forum titled (Towards Objective Scientific Indexing For Quality Academic Publication), at the hall of discussions of the College, on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. The forum was attended by a number of deans and faculty staffs. In the forum’s opening lecture, emphasis was laid on the bases and ethics of academic publication, while in the other three lectures the focus was on the strategies of writing, conducting plagiarism checks and the importance of selecting serious highly-standard academic publication channels, and to be careful not to fall for fake and predatory journals.
