Upon the invitation from the Dutch SPARK Organization, Rector Kossay Alahmady sent a delegation, headed by Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Salim Taha, to Turkey to attend the proceedings of the symposium on upgrading curricula in Iraq.The event, to which Dr. Azhar Jasim, Head of Department of Human Resources Development at the Studies Office of Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and which extended from November 26-29, 2020, aimed at examining the mechanism of universities curricula development all over the world, the future of higher education, and adopting the system of Polonia for curricula description.Titled (The Future of Higher Education And The Sustainable Development Of Curricula In Iraq), the symposium included a number of seminars by education curricula experts, who discussed how to adopt international curricula development systems and how to improve faculty academic capacities in a way that suits higher education in Iraq.
