Department of Sociology of College of Arts conducted a viva voce examination for MA student, Taha Khidhr Taha whose thesis titled (Women Early Widow-Being & its Social Effects on Iraqi Family: Nineveh a Case Study), was supervised by Prof. Dr. Shafeeq Ibrahim Salih, on September 6th, 2021.The study submitted reflected on the social, economic, educational, psychological, and health aspects affected by early widow-being causing as many complications for children and mother as overburdening them. Women usually receive the larger part of it with the kind of social vulnerability that extends to bad practices like exploitation and molestation, according to the study.
