New Patent Registered For Our Faculty
admin_omar2021-10-31T00:00:00+00:30Iraqi Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, COSQC registered a new patent for Assist Prof. Dr. Ammar Ahmed Hamdoon of Chemistry Department, College of Education for Pure Sciences, and Senior Chemist, Alaa Ali Hussein of College of Environment Sciences and Technologies.The patent was given on September 23th, 2021, for 'Conversion of Rheological Properties of Asphalt using High-Density Polyethylene and Aerobic Oxidation.' The resultant compound of the conversion is a high-quality one that meets pavement applications standards and is also useful in environmental terms as it helps ridding of polyethylene wastes.
