In cooperation with Virginia Tech University of the US, through IREX, Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations opened the English Language Learning Center at the Continuing Learning Unit of University of Mosul on September 7th, 2022. Rector Kossay Alahmady opened the Center in a celebration, which was attended virtually by Dr. Alaa Abdelhussein, Iraqi MOHESR advisor, Dr. Wafaa Al-Deli, representative of Virginia Tech University, Dr. Laurie Mason, representative of IREX, and other officials and staff. The new center is meant to improve the capacities of the University’s and other service departments’ staffs besides meeting the jobs market needs.
