The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, honored the top graduates of the 33rd cohort of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations during the graduation ceremony.

In his speech at the event, the minister emphasized that this new cohort of graduates represents a significant milestone in Iraq’s higher education achievements. He highlighted their dedication and commitment to advancing the environment of medical education in Iraq, propelling it toward new horizons.

Dr. Al-Aboudi also noted that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has prioritized medical sciences by providing the necessary support and fostering success across all Iraqi universities. He called for organizing an international scientific conference for each new cohort to align with the ministry’s policy of internationalizing education, establishing partnerships, and facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange between local educational institutions and the global academic community.

The ceremony included remarks by the President of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations, a speech by the graduates, recommendations from the scientific councils, and the official issuance of certificates. The event concluded with Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi awarding the top graduates and expressing his confidence that the 33rd cohort would provide a new impetus for promoting scientific research, enriching institutions with skilled professionals, and fostering continuous contributions to enhance scientific and educational services.
