The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, University of Mosul, organized a workshop on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, titled “Drugs and Their Impact on Human Health.” The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Muntaha Mahmoud Daoud Al-Qattan, Assistant Prof. Dr. Najah Sobhi Nayef, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Marwa Hashim Daoud.

The workshop discussed the effects of drugs on various body systems, providing a scientific explanation of addiction’s harms and its different types.

The event aimed to shed light on the health and psychological dangers of drug use, raise awareness about the consequences of addiction, and explore prevention methods to build a more informed society and protect future generations.
