University of Mosul Continues Its Path of Excellence

Once again, the University of Mosul reaffirms its commitment to supporting and empowering all segments of its community, with women as one of the key pillars of its ongoing progress. This dedication was evident during the “Festival of Development and Creativity” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on December 18, 2024.

The University of Mosul was represented at the event by the Women’s Affairs Unit, led by Ms. Soha Mohammed Tayeb, along with a group of talented women who overcame challenges to showcase their creativity. They participated in an exhibition of scientific and artistic works, including scientific projects, crafts, painting, and sculpture, reflecting the achievements of the university’s faculty, staff, and students.

The participation yielded outstanding results, with Ms. Soha Mohammed Tayeb receiving the first prize for the Green Environment Panel, recognizing the university’s pioneering efforts to promote a pollution-free green environment. Additionally, Noor Hamadi, the top graduate from the Media Department at the College of Arts for the 2023–2024 academic year, won first place for her success story, standing out among other universities in Iraq.

Congratulations to the University of Mosul for this new achievement and to the creative women who continue to bridge science with action, enriching the university’s journey with innovation and accomplishment for a brighter future.
