  On Monday, December 23, 2024, the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis titled “The Vital Role of Climate Change and Its Impact on the Growth of Green Bead Trees (Pistacia Khinjuk) Using Tree Climate Analysis in Northern Iraq.” The study, presented by student Shaimaa Dia Ali from the Department of Forestry, addressed climate changes that have led to a decline in the growth and vitality of plant cover, an increase in average temperatures, and a decrease in rainfall.
