As part of her ongoing efforts with various institutions and a series of visits in the capital, Baghdad, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, met with the Excellency Minister of Immigration and Displaced Persons, Ms. Ivan Faiq Jabro, today, Monday, December 30, 2024.

This visit aims to extend congratulations on the occasion of the Christmas celebrations.

The meeting also included discussions regarding the framework of the joint memorandum of understanding signed between the ministry and the University of Mosul, aimed at supporting the ministry’s plans for the return of displaced persons. Notably, this includes support for the “Hope” Center for psychological and community rehabilitation in Mosul, as well as ongoing efforts to rehabilitate those families and provide studies and scientific consultations in this area.

In this regard, the President of the University expresses his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Honorable Minister, Ms. Ivan Faiq, and reaffirms his commitment to ensuring that the University of Mosul remains a beacon of hope for all Iraqis.
