The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, highlighted the importance of supporting provinces and their institutions with specialized services, expertise, training programs, and technical consultations.

This was stated during his meeting with the Wasit University Council, where the Minister emphasized the need to advance educational processes, update their frameworks, and provide research opportunities that contribute to the development of provinces. He underlined the role of academic expertise and specialized services in meeting developmental needs.

The Minister urged the importance of strengthening the role of universities as productive and influential environments capable of driving societal development. He also stressed the necessity of achieving integration between universities and state institutions to ensure the provision of scientific and practical solutions that address developmental requirements.

Dr. Al-Aboudi listened to proposals and insights from the Wasit University Council members regarding various aspects related to scientific research and the admission of international students.
