Master’s Thesis in the College of Education for Women on Genetic Traits in Sweet Corn
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, a master’s thesis by researcher Shahed Hazem Mohammed titled “Estimation of Genetic Traits in Sweet Corn and Their Effect on Quail Feed” was discussed at the College of Education for Women, University of Mosul. The session was partially attended by Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs.
The study focused on the genetic traits of sweet corn and their impact on the quality of feed used for quails. It aimed at improving the production performance of quails by modifying the genetic components of corn.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sobhi Mustafa and included Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim from the University of Kirkuk, Lecturer Dr. Ria Ghalib Saadallah, and supervision and membership by Assistant Prof. Dr. Azhar Abdul Jabbar and Lecturer Dr. Manal Abdul Muttalib.
