After being 100% destroyed, the College of Veterinary Medicine inaugurates two new lecture halls with state-of-the-art designs.

As part of a reconstruction effort to erase the scars of destruction, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inaugurated two newly built lecture halls at the College of Veterinary Medicine on Monday, January 13, 2025. This college had suffered total destruction during the control of terrorist groups over Mosul and the university from 2014 to 2017. The new halls are designated for undergraduate students and are equipped with the latest scientific and educational tools to better serve them.

Dr. Al-Ibrahimi toured the facilities, expressing the University’s commitment to restoring the college and its buildings to an even better state than before. He praised the collective efforts contributing to the advancement of the University’s academic and research endeavors.
