The Iraqi-Iranian Science Week, held in Holy Karbala, continues its activities and scientific and research sessions between the universities of the two countries.

The scientific and research sessions on the second day of Science Week included presentations on the research pathways of Iraqi and Iranian universities and mechanisms for developing scientific and research cooperation in the field of environmental sciences.

The sessions also discussed creating new opportunities for university cooperation in the fields of science and technology parks and building scientific partnerships, including the exchange of faculty members and researchers, as well as providing scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The sessions of Science Week, in which more than 100 universities from both countries are participating, also addressed the implementation of joint research projects in the fields of renewable energy and information technology.
