A master’s thesis entitled “Statistical Prediction of Thalassemia Behavior Using Radial Basis Function Network” was discussed at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, by researcher Muhammad Faris Ali. The study addressed the classification of thalassemia patients using machine learning techniques such as neural networks and the nearest neighbor algorithm, while analyzing data consisting of 280 cases that aimed to identify risk factors for thalassemia and classify it using neural networks and statistical methods with a focus on improving early diagnosis to prevent future complications.
