The Center for Mosul Studies held the third photography exhibition entitled “The Story of a City”, in cooperation with photographer Mr. Saad Hadi Al-Rifai, on January 20 and 21, 2025.

The exhibition included more than 54 distinctive photographic paintings, which reflected the life of the city of Mosul in its historical, heritage, folkloric and cultural aspects, as the pictures embodied stories from the details of daily life with high-level professional touches.

The exhibition was attended by a large number of academics and researchers interested in the heritage and arts of Mosul, in addition to university students, who expressed their great admiration for the exhibited works and their artistic vision documenting the beauty of the city and its ancient history
