The Mosul Families and Households Council hosted the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, on Wednesday evening, 22/1/2025.

He was welcomed by the President of the Council, Mr. Qutaiba Agha, where Mr. Qutaiba congratulated Mr. President on his assumption of the presidency of the university at the beginning of his speech, and emphasized the role of the university in society.

Then Mr. President of the University delivered the lecture, in which he talked about the status of the University of Mosul locally and internationally, explaining the effects of the stage that the university lived through during the occupation of the province by terrorist gangs and the destruction of the university buildings, facilities and laboratories, and how the university rose again and returned to the life of construction and scientific and urban progress at all levels.
