Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received Mr. Safwan Basheer Al-Jarjari, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, on Saturday, January 25. The Secretary-General congratulated the University President on assuming his new position.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to support the educational and research processes and mechanisms to develop legislation that meets the needs of higher education institutions.

The two parties also conducted a field tour of the university to observe the progress achieved at the University of Mosul, particularly in terms of infrastructure development.
