University of Mosul President meets students of the “Vision of a Nation” program to enhance their leadership role
In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research related to academic institutional accreditation and within the framework of the university’s keenness to support and develop youth energies, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, met with the students of the “Vision of Homeland” program, which includes 600 male and female students from various disciplines, with the aim of qualifying them and providing them with leadership skills and enhancing their participation in voluntary activities organized by the university.
During the meeting, Mr. Al-Ibrahimi listened to the students’ suggestions and ideas about the development of the program and its role in enhancing their social contribution. He stressed that the program is a real opportunity to prepare a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility and contributing to nation building.
He also pointed out that the university continues to support this type of initiatives that aim to empower youth to be future leaders and active participants in community service.
