On Monday evening, February 3, 2025, the trial operation of the University of Mosul Stadium lighting was conducted under the direction of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Construction and Projects Department at the University Presidency.

The inspection and commissioning process included testing the efficiency and quality of the lighting system to ensure its readiness for use prior to the opening of the University of Mosul Stadium.

This step comes as part of the university’s efforts to develop and enhance the infrastructure in line with modern standards.
